W&A has been public relations counsel to the Tech Council of Maryland since 2008.  Besides regularly securing positive news coverage for the organization’s major initiatives, they have strategically placed op-eds on important issues in the leading news outlets throughout the Baltimore-D.C. corridor.  They also have been a critical part in crafting our overall communications strategy with members, key community stakeholders and the public on issues of importance to the technology and life science communities, and consistently provides quick analysis and solutions that enhance the work we do for our membership and technology communities.

Wills & Associates has been supporting Emergent’s public relations efforts since 2008 when we purchased a major manufacturing facility in Baltimore from one of his clients.  The transaction received positive and widespread media coverage in the region, and soon thereafter I hired Brad and his team to be a part of our ongoing communications efforts. When our industry was faced with a surprise tax on computer services in Maryland, we mobilized with Wills & Associates for a PR and advocacy campaign designed to repeal the tax.  Not only did they help us quickly place volumes of positive earned media statewide on the repeal effort,they also were successful in securing a Wall Street Journal editorial supporting our efforts.
